100% Organic Baby

Kallan helped me plant some seeds this past Spring. Much to our surprise the fruits of our labors have paid off! We have had lots and lots of cherry tomatoes, much better than any you can buy at a store. We have carrots, a cucumber, strawberries, and cerano peppers (for daddy). We also planted a pumpkine vine, but nothing ever came from it. I think we planted it too late. We will be getting ready to plant for the fall here soon!

A New Girl in Town!

Our neighbors and good friends had their first baby girl. Mike, Kallan and I went down the street to post an "It's a Girl" sign in their front yard. Kallan was so excited to carry the sign down the street. Once her and Mike got it in the ground and she realized it was not coming back home with us she was pretty devastated. She got over it pretty quick and we had a birthday party to go to where she had a blast!

Say Cheese

Kallan was really amused by me taking pictures of the caterpillar. She insisted that I take a few of her too, by the tomato plant of course!

The VERY Hungry Caterpillar!

We've been watching this caterpillar on my tomato plant for a few days. I knew it was eating the leaves, but it was just too fun to watch to move. Since it was away from the actual tomatoes and only eating the leaves I let it stay. Today we relocated him to another bush across the street. He was really getting too comfortable here.

Sweet Dreams and Flutterflies

Kallan now has a "Big Girl Bed"! She REALLY loves it and was sleeping in it all night long for about two weeks! Now she is back in bed with us in the middle of the night because her 2 year molars are coming in.

5 Weeks and counting for new baby sister to make her appearance! Kallan talks about her everyday. She likes to hug and kiss her baby sister. She likes to pull out baby sisters diapers and put them on her dolls. Today we brought out the swing and bouncy seat and some of Kallan's clothes from when she was a newborn. I registered for the hospital and it's all starting to become a reality, we will soon be a family of 4!
